In 2010, Dr. Phil Zimbardo founded Heroic Imagination Project - a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, CA, with
Dr. Lynne Henderson as the Director of Research and Brooke Deterline as the Director of Corporate Initiatives. In late 2012, Brooke Deterline, CEO of Courageous Leadership, spun-off from HIP with Courageous Leadership, L.L.C. - a full service, research-based consulting firm. We continue to have complementary services and missions. Although not officially
affiliated, we do partner whenever possible.
