A financial services and fintech industry veteran of nearly 25 years, Robert Ruffin currently leads high-performing teams as an accomplished marketing strategist, visionary, and thought leader, impacting sales, brand and product marketing success through identification of stakeholder objectives, deep business acumen and data-driven insights. Throughout his career, Rob has realized a number of notable achievements, including: created and executed successful B2B/B2C direct and partner marketing engines that drove double-digit annual profit growth; led strategy, implementation and execution of successful national/regional marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention and relationship deepening; directed multi-million-dollar enterprise digital transformation initiatives leading to enhanced marketing and sales capabilities and significantly increased margins; monetized large organizational investments in ‘Big Data’ to enhance analytics, CRM and other cloud-based capabilities to drive quantum leaps in organizational sales performance.
Rob has been involved in a family-owned businesses since 1993, having launched several successful ventures in a variety of industries, including marketing, real estate investment, health and wellness and education. He shares his expertise as a speaker/panelist for numerous regional and national conferences and has been a strong and active champion of diversity initiatives, including leading access to capital initiatives to support women and diverse business enterprises as well as actively speaking on the subject at public events and forums. He’s also been an executive sponsor and change leader in areas of organizational diversity and inclusion throughout his career.
Rob attended Harvard University and the Sorbonne (Paris-IV, France) and received a BA in Civilization studies with a minor in economics (1990). Speaking fluent French and intermediate Spanish, he is an avid traveler, having visited most major continents in pursuit of his personal passions for food, wine, film and the arts. He also participates actively and is a staunch supporter of local charities, including the March of Dimes, Children’s International and other childhood development organizations.
